Welcome to Mount ClareKeating Productions 16 minute videotape Winner of the 2003 Maryland Historic Trust Preservation Award for Educational Excellence |
|
Videographer: Tim Keating Mount Clare Mansion is one of the finest examples of colonial architecture in Maryland. It was built in 1760 as the country estate of Charles Carroll, Barrister, a prominent figure during the American Revolution. Today, this registered National Historic Landmark is a museum that lets you glimpse life in a bygone era. No other museum house in Maryland contains so many daily artifacts of the eighteenth century. |
