Cabo San Lucas, at the extreme tip of the Baia California Peninsula, has evolved over the past half century from a sleepy fishing village to a high-energy playground on the Sea of Cortez—a body of water with sealife so diverse that Jacques Cousteau called it the "aquarium of the world."
